It is that time of year again, folks. Yes, spring/summer… but also a time of a year I like to call Convention Season. Reason being, a good chunk of the big industry conventions happen right around this time. We (The Agents of G.U.A.R.D., including myself) happen to all live in Southern California, land of sunshine, movie stars, and big fan conventions.
Of course, other cities all over the world host pretty awesome conventions as well, some I’m dying to go check out, like Gen Con, PAX Prime/East, Gamescon, DragonCon etc. – but we’ve got a large concentration of the big ones. I consider myself lucky, cuz geez, I’d totally never get to check out any of these if I didn’t live where I do.
But for the purposes of this article, we’ll be talking about the big annual summer conventions I’m planning to attend this year. Thems being:

Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) – June 16-18
AnimeExpo (AX) – July 2-5
San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) – July 8-12
and, if miracles happen
PAX Prime – August 28-31
This set of entries will serve as my prep journal as I may it through 2015’s con season. Weekly updates. What am I doing to prepare? Where will I be staying? I’m not pretending to be an expert on attending conventions, I’m far from it. I have no idea what I’m doing half the time. So I guess I’m doing this as a reminder to myself, and for the legions of fans out there as a precautionary tale. Haha. Yes.
